Men Without Hats - The Safety Dance

This video from my the days of my childhood continues to inspire me. They just don't make em like this anymore.

little people definitely do (for real), and the bizarre dude singing who 20 years ago seemed really cool

Jason,

You are making me feel really old.

I remember when MTV played videos for new bands that weren't under contract with a major record label.

Record label? Did I say that I meant recording studio, I am getting old. Records -- I remember the day the 45 rpm record disappeared.

Yep, back in the day.

P.S. Maybe I should register a blog name.

hey di. being that it is an 80's music video, i think its safe to say that the people who made the video probably didn't understand it either. pretty cool though.

Hey Jason I love those music videos. I am of the Al Jolson era, but in my middle years (1980s), I liked this too. Send some more. But if you would happen to find a Jolson rendering somewhere, send him along too. "You ain't seen nothin' yet!"
